General Douglas Mc Arthur was ordered to report to Australia to command the Allied Forces in the Pacific.. Sta Ana of Davao became the designated headquarters of the US army in Mindanao
Amando Ursos decided to be enlisted to the th USAFFEE A FILIPINO AMERICAN FORCE FOR THE DEFENSE OF mINDANAO.. Amando Ursos was under the command of Col Fertig field commander of the US army to secure the Barobo Airfield as an option for emegency landing of the the US airforce in case Leyte cannot be taken by the US army
I twas dyring this war when Amando Ursos have discovered the forest of Ebro and Taglikid near San Franciscio and Barobo. After rthe war Amando settled in Taglikid together with his nephew Marciano Ursos
